PROGRAM OFFERINGS
The energy assistance program offers no- cost appliance upgrades and energy saving products you may be eligible for.
Offerings include:
- Refrigerator replacement
- Smart Thermostat Installation
- Thermostatic Shower
- Freezer replacement
- Thermostatic Valve/showerhead
- Clothes washer replacement
- Dishwasher replacement
- Attic insulation
- Furnace replacement
- Water heater replacement
- Pool pump replacement
- Central AC or Heatpump replacement
- Portable AC to homes with no AC
- And more
ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for no-cost upgrades and minor home repairs, households must meet specific income guidelines. We work closely with our clients to navigate these requirements and ensure they benefit from energy-saving upgrades that can significantly reduce utility costs.
Be a homeowner or renter who receives electric or gas services through a residential meter.
Reside in a single-family home or mobile home
Note: Residences with four (4) or fewer units are considered single-family homes. So, duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes qualify.
Have an active SCE or SCG service account.
And meet either Option 1 or Option 2 listed below.
Option 1: Public Assistance Programs
- Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
- CalFresh/SNAP (Food Stamps)
- CalWorks (TANF)/Tribal TANF
- Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)
- LIHEAP
- Medi-Cal/Medicaid
- Medi-Cal for Families (Healthy Families A&B)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Women, Infants, and Children (W.I.C.)
